You know that new taste? Want to knowingly enjoy it? Here's a way to do that! It seems like a lot of stuff to do but it's really easy and quick since the tofu bakes.
My daughter had a similar pizza at a restaurant. It's not very cheesy but tangy. Although I use my own homemade pizza dough recipe for the crust in this photo, I used the Boboli Pizza Crust as a basic crust for the recipe so it could be a more standardized serving.
I think this would be very tasty with vegetables like kale or spinach, carrots, etc. Give it a try!
Much of the time is idle time; waiting for the yeast and dough to proof. It's not super easy, but not terribly hard either. But it's worth it, they come out light, soft and fluffy; nothing like those generic ones from the supermarket. Excellent for dipping curries or for soaking up sauces and gravies.
A regular meal around here--the types and amounts of veggies shift to reflect what it on hand at any given moment, ditto to the sauces and whatnot.
A note: I included in the nutrient info 'white wine' but actually it's Chinese rice wine for cooking.
I love the packaged Shin Ramyun Soup, but not all the additives and starchy noodles. This version tastes pretty close to the packaged version, but on a healthier version.
