My brother brought this delicious recipe (called Okono miyaki) back from Japan - even my husband, who's picky about cabbage, loves it! It's an easy way to get vegetables and very low-calorie, too.
found this one in O magazine and its still totally nutritious without the chicken!
Quite tasty! Great low calorie meal. Nutritional information is calculated without the tortillas.
The original recipe calls for 8 drumsticks and yields 4 servings. I used 4 chikcen breasts and served my family of 6. The nutritional info is based on using chicken breasts and serving 6.
Took a sweet & sour recipe we enjoyed and tried to make it a little quicker to fix and better for you by taking out the frying! It makes plenty of delicious sauce, and you can add more vegetables to it depending on your family's preference!
Awesome, colorful and easy! Perfect side dish for almost any meal. Tip - add the chow mein noodles right before serving and don't plan to have any leftovers since the noodles aren't the best if they get soggy...

This amazing fish dish will make you look like you really know your way around the kitchen. The sauce really makes the dish! For you Thai lovers, this recipe is a keeper. Prep all your ingredients before you start cooking, I used my mini food processor to save time (love this!). This dish is quick, easy, took less than 30 minutes start to finish. Perfect over jasmine rice.
This takes a half hour to cook, tops. Flavorful, quasi-Asian style soup with lots of room to develop for your taste. The theory behind the soup is that you can change the recipe every time you make it. Add more vegetables. Change the dark leafy green you add. Make it your own. It's just a quick, delicious soup to experiment with!
They serve this at the Lifetime Fitness Cafe and it is AMAZING... I asked for the recipe and they printed it off for me. (I switched canned tuna for tuna steaks- I think it is less salty and fresher that way.)
The original recipe would yield 2Q so I divided everything down to yield 5 servings of 3 ounces each.
Once prepared - can be eaten as is, go on a salad, in a lettuce wrap or even on a sandwich. It is VERY spicy so beware.
I love pad thai and have perfected it so that I can cook a healthier version at home. I sometimes add shrimp, but even with just tofu it's a delicious meal. I use both fresh eggs and egg beaters to keep the calories down. I also use low sodium soy sauce to keep the sodium level lower.
Very good and very filling 3 wraps each person , but honestly you can probably do 2 for each and serv 3.
This is a fun recipe to try when you want to experiment. We use it for Chinese night in our house and everyone makes their own dish, like pot-luck. This should make four big rolls and about 40 or so pieces.
For this recipe, I assumed that we would end up with 40 pieces, and each serving is 5 pieces, for a pretty filling 2 carb exchanges.
Oh my goodness, I couldn't believe how yummylicious this was. The seeds in the Jalapeno make it spicy, if you remove the seeds it wont' be spicy anymore.
