Low calorie colorful and delicious fruit salad with no additional embelishments
This is a VERY old recipe made modern with lowfat milk, and No added sugar canned peaches. I tried to mimick the type of foods available before modern intervention. If you use fresh peaches, add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/4 tsp salt mix and sprinkle over the peaches. Grandma was not afraid of sugar or butter. I'm sure you can experiment and still come out with a good desert.

Broccoli Salad with a Thai Peanut Sauce: I found the amounts of things don't matter so much, its the combo of flavors. I've used other veggies in it on occasion.
Great salad served cold with nice crisp garden veggies. Onions can be of your choosing. I like to vary my tomatoes to what I have on hand. Other veggies can be added also like summer squash. I like to add extra seasonings to it.
I just used what i had...and it turned out good...next time rather use Molasses then the syrup and possibly add a little liquid smoke

This is a great recipe that is a hit at family gatherings. I have changed it slightly from the actually recipe by cutting back on the oil, using lite miracle whip and splenda in place of sugar. I am not sure how "lite" it will come out in comparison with some low-cal recipes, but I know how good this is!! :)
This is so easy and delicious; the radishes become sweet and tastes nothing like the raw ones. You can also add fresh basil and parsley along with the dried. This can be prepared early in the day.
