This is a favorite of mine. I eliminated the potatoes and peas and added cauliflower and green bell pepper. It is delish! I had this with cooked butternut squash but you can have it with brown rice or just a green salad.
This is a family favorite. I also added garam masala to this but couldn't find it in the ingredient drop-down list in the recipe builder.
Serve this with roti or rice.

CAULIFLOWER originated over 2,000 years ago in gardens of Asia Minor and the Mediterranean. By the 16th Century, it was eaten throughout Western Europe. It is an excellent source of Vitamin C, a good source of folacin and a source of potassium. It is a member of the cruciferous family, known for nutrients that fight several diseases. Serving the cauliflower raw will give you the highest nutritional benefits, however, if you must cook it, lightly steamed will also keep its cancer-fighting components intact.
Non fat yogurt sauce flavored with ground curry and other spices. This can be used as a marinade or over brown rice once the yogurt is at room temperature. If you want to add a little warmth to yogurt, put on rice and microwave for about 20 to 30 seconds depending on your microwave.
Indian lentil dish. You can eat it with rice and optional vegetables, but I also like to eat a double portion of it without anything, or with extra water and some bread served along with it making a soup for lunch.

This is a very basic "intro" level curry; it's very mild (enough so that even little kids will likely eat it).
I was looking for a good recipe for a mild curry. It took some work, and I'm still tweaking it, but here's what I've got so far.
I like curries. I like them a lot. While this is healthier than some, it's still not all that healthy. But oh, is it tasty. Use it sparingly!
Chai Black tea brewed with Edensoy Rice and Soy blend beverage and sweetened with stevia. Spices were bought at a farmer's market pre-mixed but you can mix your own.
boil lentils seperately until soft. add tomatoes and garlic.
Seperate pan, simmer chicken, onion and cauliflower with masala simmer sauce. Add cayenne to taste
