My son likes butter on his veggies and I have been adapting this recipe for various one. This will work with almost any frozen veggie and you can halve it for a smaller package (I used the 32 oz. bag this time). Cooking times are estimated. I usually start this about the time I start my other food and it's done before everything else is... You could definitely cut the calories with margarine and it works, but I generally use real butter.
Makes 24 large peanut butter cups. Use palm oil shortening or other trans-fat free margarine. Rice crispies are substituted for the cookie crumbs found in most similar recipes.
This delicious and low fat treat is great for the whole family and a welcome treat on a warm night. My mother made this throughout my whole childhood. I suggest making it the night before to let all the ingredients really absorb the flavors.
Low Fat Brownie recipe from the Bob's Red Mill cookbook. I reduced the sugar by 1/4 cup and added dried cranberries to the mix. The yogurt really keeps these babies moist!!
Very hard and dry. Basically tasteless cardboard, or a really hard saltine cracker. Another name for it is sheet-iron-crackers.

I keep this in a lg ziploc in the refrigerator and use it to top almost anything! Yogurt, banana pancakes, streusel for muffins, or just by the handful!
Yummy homemade sloppy Joe sauce - made with Ground Turkey. The original recipe is from the better baby food cookbook and calls for ground beef. I just made the switch to ground turkey to reduce the fat content. It's yummy either way.
I love Reese's peanut butter cups, but clearly it's not diet food! These are an excellent substitution. If you are doing weight watchers these are 2 points each.
Made with fat free pastry that can be used for many different recipes.
The pasty is different to your normal butter pastry but you have to compromise somewhere if you want to cut out the fat and these are a nice little treat without to much guilt.
You can use any jam you like, try sugar free jam or put a fresh strawberry in each one with only a tiny bit of jam
This is a spicy version of a childhood favorite. I actually use an ancho chili, but the ingredients list a green chili - that was the only chili already found on Spark. Feel free to vary the spice blend to reflect your own taste. It would be delicious with southwestern seasonings too - cumin and oregano along with the garlic & chilis. Enjoy and please comment if you make!
I keep working on variations of the 1-minute microwave muffin. I seem to be obsessed! This one is really good, and pretty much tastes like fluffernutter. With only 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, though, it's far fewer carbs and calories than a real fluffernutter! Enjoy and please comment if you try it.
So yummy, youve got to try these...great for breakfast with a sugar free jam, like a peanut butter & jelly sandwich! Kids love them too, my two year old has one for desert!
so good and so good for you! Less than 100 calories per serving! Great alternative desert for children. You can even put in 1/4 cup shredded zucchini in place of 1/4 cup bananas to get some veggies in there. Enjoy!
Yum! So healthy, so tasty! You really cant go wrong with these. My daughter and I top them with peanut butter and a drizzle of honey for a high fiber/high protein breakfast.
