Great as an appetizer or snack. I limited the recipe to my idea of one serving, but of course I always make extra for my guests!
These are super yummy and nutritious. And only 90 calories each! Plus add any toppings you want. I like flax seeds, sunflower seeds and other things like that. They're also great for breakfast because having 2 is like having a bowl of oatmeal on the go.
Sugar free whole wheat muffins. These are a GREAT low fat high fiber muffin that are super easy to make and super yummy to eat.
This recipe is from the Deceptively Delicious cookbook by Jessica Seinfeld. As a mom, one of my favorite cookbooks! My nutrition calcs are baed on Native Forest artichoke hearts, which are marinated, providing extra flavor. But, you can reduce fat and calories by substituting plain artichoke hearts.
I Love full bars because they work BUT they are expensive and making the real recipe is more time consuming, and most of the ingredients are harder to find.
So I experimented using the original rice crispy treat idea recipe as a base but with lower calories and more protien. Makes 8 HUGE bars!
and like the full bars say- enjoy as a snack with 8-16 oz of water 30 minutes before any large meal or trigger food- it will make you eat less! :)
This is an amazing recipe for a food dehydrator, has all natural whole food ingredients. Easy to make, Super delicious!
Inspired by the energy bars in The Thrive Diet, but this is my own variation.
