My doctor wanted me to increase my protein intake significantly, by introducing a whey protein shake for breakfast. Unfortunately, I am allergic to artificial sweeteners, so I finally found ISO Protein. However, I can tolerate the stevia, but not so the flavor. I added a packet of hot chocolate to cover the flavor a bit.
Using no sugar added peaches, this recipe helps to create a peach cobbler that won't break the nutrition bank.
If you read any of my other recipies you will know that I'm lazy. This is a general recipie. I use the chocalate mix, with peanut butter and banana, or espresso mix in with smucker's sugar free caramel and chocolate drizzled on top of the whipped cream. If I run out of cottage, I add ricotta cheese...Adding the cheese adds protein and thickness--tastes just like a milkshake! Please feel free to reply with your own shake variations:-)
This was my first try at baking cookies. Came up with the recipie by reading a few and adding some of my own twists, taking some away, and substituting. They ended up a little funny looking, but tasted great! Like Tastycakes Oatmeal Raisin Bars..I will add a pic when I can figure out how to make them prettier:-)
