With these pancakes you can make up the dry mix (I ususally double it) and keep it in the fridge and make it up only when needed. (which will be often as good as they are)
We used up all the extra dips and draps of jam in the fridge. Each muffin is entirely a different flavour. All of our jam is homemade low sugar and that is what the recipe is calculated for, if yours is different please change.
These are very yummy. Adjust seasonings to your taste! These are quite filling, you can get about 30-36 out of the recipe, depending on the size. Keep a few out and freeze the rest. Try different dried fruits.
This isn't very healthy, but it's VERY good, especially as French toast! Feel free to modify to make it healthier.
This recipe is from the Bariatric Eating website. Thanks Susan for a GREAT recipe!!!
A delicious waffle made with a grain called spelt. Spelt is available at health food stores and major grocery chains in the health sections. Some people who are sensitive to wheat (like me) can have spelt, but if you are gluten intolerant you will not be able to have spelt as it does have gluten.
This recipe is from Blythe Alberg from the Cut the Fat Weight Loss Podcast. I made these with salted cottage cheese since that's all I had in my house, and I would definately recommend the no-salt one! A great high protein oatmeal pancake!
A delicious, pumpkin spice treat that's perfect for cool fall mornings. These make a great, simple breakfast treat for Thanksgiving morning!
Loaded with good stuff: whole wheat, oat bran, flax, zucchini, carrots, apple, craisins, walnuts, and pecans!
No matter how healthy I become, there are a couple things I'll never give up. One is gramma's drop biscuits. The memories alone make them worth fitting into my days worth of calories!
This is a great shake for after a workout or a mid afternoon boost. It is a variation of one of the Abs Diet Shakes.
My neice uses coconut flour so I decided to try the pancakes. They are really good. Gluten free, soy free, low fat and carb, and sugar free. You can combine coconut flour with regular flours as well. Makes 16-3" pancakes/4 per serving.
These muffins are a wonderful treat that my kids LOVE!! I have redone the recipe to make it lower in calories and fat at only approximately 3 grams of fat each muffin!!
This is the greatest recipe for a quick meal or snack! I haven't met anyone yet who didn't like it (except my extremely picky 7 yr old!). Perfect for breakfast, brunch, Potlucks, or anytime!
