These are great for many different applications. We make a bunch and then use them all week in place of raw onions. Since they are grilled with just a little EVOO they are a much healthier alternative to caramelized onions if a recipe calls for that try these instead.
Something we used to make when I was little, only with ALOT more red meat, and ALOT less seafood. The novelty for me was the method, and not so much the food.
This was passed onto me by my Pastor (Sarah A Miller), and passed on to her by someone she knows. This is pretty spicey, but OH so tasty. Put it in the slow cooker for about 2 hrs and you have a hearty meal for the cool weather. My husband and I ate this for 1 whole weekend! Please tell me how you like it.
