This recipe is my family's favorite way to use over-ripe bananas. Not necessarily low fat, but oh so yummy. This is the original version, but I have used egg beaters and 1/2 cup splenda with 1/2 cup sugar successfully in the past to reduce calories. We don't care for nutty banana bread, but feel free to add some if in you like! Enjoy.

I halved the recipe and needed to switch baking powder for soda, hence the odd measurements!
This recipe was made with 1/2 flour whole wheat and 1/2 sugar was substituted with splenda. I would use less butter and berries next time but was very tasty and filling. You can serve as part of breakfast/brunch or as a dessert with a bit of ice cream or whipped topping (not calulated in nutritional values).
