Brunch Recipes (Most Popular)
I use whatever veggies I have in the fridge for this recipe. It's really easy & great for brunch. You can also sub non-fat milk for the 1/2 & 1/2 to reduce the fat content.
These bars are really tasty. A very simple recipe that contains no sugar. There is a sweetness factor because of the raisins--just enough!
This is a quick and easy bisquick pie recipe that satisfies your cheesy quiche craving. This blend of veggies is my personal favorite, but you can sub out your favorites (keeping in mind their calories!) if you want. This is a great way to use leftover veggies from last night's dinner, or use up what is about to go bad in the fridge!
Have one full quarter of the pie for a yummy dinner or brunch, or have an 8th of the pie as a side dish to your favorite soup or salad
You can make just 6 muffins for the week or if you have company you can make 12 muffins, 6 of each kind.
Want a nice cold treat that tastes sooo good? Great to eat, or to place in your water as flavored ice cubes, you'll enjoy Pina Colada Popsicles. Only two ingredients, and a 14 cube ice tray are needed.
Place all ingredients in a tall cylindrical container. Use a single hand mixer and start mixing from the bottom to the top. Pull the mixer up from the bottom very slowly. As you do this, the mayonnaise will thicken.
Delicious! Original recipe called for vegetable oil, but I substituted apple sauce and they are equally as good! =)
Yummy and Healthy!
These are a little high in fat, but it does have GOOD fats in it. If you want to save yourself about half the fat, use applesauce instead of oil. You will reduced the calories by 50 calories, and you will save yourself 6 grams of fat. (I was using a base recipe for muffins and adding my own additions, i.e. flaxseed and whole wheat flour instead of refined, so I kept some of the ingredients the same.)
In fact, I'm adding this recipe twice, again with applesauce in the ingredients, for the next time I try this recipe. So if you want to use applesauce instead of canola oil, see my recipes.
