This is a recipe I came across while living in Italy many years ago. I have added some of my favorite vegetables to it to "beef" it up and make it more hearty. It is one of my family's favorites, great for a cold fall or winter night.
This recipe is from the Pillsbury website. The site calculates the calories at 410 for this dinner with the horseradish sauce. (I added the sauce in the instructions but not in the recipe as i don't care for horseradish.)

This is cooked in a crockpot so throw it together and enjoy your day, can also be cooked on stove top simmered if prefer. My kids and hubby love this so much I make it at least once a week we top it with a little sour cream and some reduced fat shredded cheese along with a salad complete meal
Very Simple to make....Takes next to nothing to cook. I enjoy cooking this with rice and some steamed vegatables. (Extremely filling with 15 large shrimp per person).
I find that simply adding lemon does not hide the natural shrimp flavor but enhances it.
This is a good guide for any roast that should be braised. You can stick this in a crock pot or oven-roast it.
