This is originally from a kraft recipe but with my own spin and a ton more flavor!!
Quick and comparitively healthy - I use reduced fat bisquick for the dumplings. Awesomely good and filling - a good comfort food fix with a lot of protein.
NOTE: To make this lower sodium, find a low sodium bisquick alternative.
Sweet potatoes slow cooked with apples and spices in the crock pot makes for a healthy vegetarian and vegan side dish perfect for Thanksgiving or any day. If your oven is full, make your sweet potatoes in the crockpot instead

If you can find ready-made pizza dough, this comes together really fast. I'm fortunate to live near a Trader Joe's where I can buy freshly made pizza dough that doesn't come in a can.
I also make my own Italian seasoning, using equal parts oregano, marjoram, basil, thyme, rosemary and whatever else you like.
It's delicious!
