This is a translation of the German recipe I got from my host mom when I was a foreign exchange student in Hamburg. It's delicious! It's almost like an ~1/2 inch layer of pound cake with tart & sweet Rhubarb on top. I love this stuff!

This is a comfort food so the portions are not skimpy which is why there are so many calories. I think there are actually less calories because I drain and rinse the cooked meat with water before mixing with other ingredients. Feel free to half the serving size and save some for later. It heaps a regular sized bowl. Enjoy!!!
Alternative to beef goulash minus the naughty cream... for a treat you can use beef instead of chicken but change the green peppers to yellow peppers for sweetness perhaps. A great winter warmer with a twist!
