I needed to make something with the purple cabbage that I was given, but I REALLY DON'T LIKE cabbage, especially the purple one. All I could think of was slaw. But I really wanted the Asian slaw my friend makes. I couldn't find the recipe, but I found one similar. So here is what I made up.
Hopefully it will end up being low in calories and fat, but I haven't calculated it yet. If it's not, it still tastes GREAT. And since I used a food processory, it may be purple, but I can't taste the cabbage at all!
The ingredients calculated are of 1 slice from 1 small loaf (6 slices).
The ingredients listed make 1 big batch which can make 1 large loaf or 3 smaller loaves.

This is from Deceptively Delicious. I made a few changes. My son can't have dairy so I eliminated the 1/2 cup of plain yogurt. And I felt that the chicken was enough protein and calories, so I also eliminated 2 egg whites (boiled).

Easy soup I made with leftover ingredients from my kitchen. Low in calories, high in fiber and protein, and very filling. Those wishing for a bit more flavor may choose to add more salt. Watch out--the red pepper gives it quite a kick!
