This is my variation on a recipe in Kevin Mills' cookbook "Faster! I'm Starving!" It only takes about 20 minutes total to prepare and it's super yummy. The cauliflower is tender, but still firm -- not mushy like it gets when you boil or steam it. If you want to change the spice mix, just be sure you use other warm spices.
This delicious blend of maple syrup, sugar and cinnamon add a warm, homey taste to plain mashed sweet potatoes!
This reminds me of tuna salad because of the mayo and celery. It's a good sandwich filling for vegetarians or those trying to get more beans into their diet. To make it vegan, just use Veganaise for the mayo.
I found a very similar recipe on Spark Recipes, submitted by MECG007. I thought it a great idea but the ingredient list didn't seem to match the recipe so I created this one. The first seemed light on calories and potassium. I am watching potassium levels closely so I made sure I used ingredients from the list that had an entry for potassium. I hope MECG007 doesn't mind. I also used maple syrup and more spice, This recipe also makes more but can be easily adjusted.
I got this recipe from the crockpot cookbook I bought. It was so easy and so good! Can easily be frozen whole or sliced into servings and frozen for breakfast on the go.
This isn't your grandma's banana bread! The traditional quick bread gets a makeover with studs of chocolate chips and swirls of creamy peanut butter.
I found this recipe on the Weight Watchers recipe boards a few years ago.
