One of my hubby's favs, my home made hot pockets. If you notice the ones in the freezer section, where are the veggies? I created one with ham, swiss, spinach and onions. Over the last year or so, I have experimented with other fillings. My family loves them.
This is very easy. You can flour meat and brown it first or not. I usually don"t . If you love mushrooms, throw some fresh ones on top before cooking. You can double the meat in this and there will still be enough sauce without doubling the soups. I serve it over rice that has been cooked in canned beef broth.
Ingredients provided by hubbys mom, with the caution that it rarely turns out the same way twice! Experiment to make it a perfect fit for your family: top with cheese, add peppers or mushrooms!
