This is very spicy.... you will need lots of water in your cup and pobably some ice when you eat it. You know what they say about spicy foods though, they speed your metabolism up so I figured this chili will sweat the fat away!!
This is one of my favorites, I have tried many butternut squash recipes and this still tops them all in my opinion!
I went to the Protein Bar and bought a cup of their Kale Navy Bean Soup with Chicken for $6.00. I went to the grocery store that night and bought all of the ingredients you see listed for less than $20.00, and the recipe actually yields more than 6 servings. It's Good and it tastes way better than the Protein Bar!! Also if you don't want chicken you can use Tofu.
This tasty soup is mostly veggies, so you can have a big bowl. To reduce the sodium even more, substitute your own chicken stock.
This has always been my Family's favorite - and requested still for family get together's years later. This makes a family size soup pot. Add water to make 8 - 2 cup servings. Can easily be modified using healthier soups, this is all I had. You can also add more or less milk or water to make your soup thinner or creamier to your liking. Adding a baguette or roll and salad makes a great meal with this soup.
Used for a fat burning diet- very filling & low fat. Add the spices that you like to make the flavor your own!
These gizzards come out so tender and this is a very simple yet really good soup like recipe.
A rich, thick chunky tomato soup, good for using up a summer's surplus. Warm, hearty and delicious.
This is a delicious twist to chicken soup. I first had this at a Greek restaurant, fell in love with it and went in search of a recipe. This is a combination of a couple of recipes I found. Next time I make it I think I'll take a short cut and use store bought low sodium chicken stock. You really need to use fresh lemons, the bottled juice just isn't the same.
This rich, decadent gumbo is sure to please the creole appetite, and anyone else who tries!
--Many people add 1/2lb of diced ham, but I don't like ham, so I leave it out.
A yummy and very filling soup. Nutrition information includes all the toppings, to make it lower fat, use low fat cheese, and less chips.
A delicious spicy sweet chili that is HCG P2 Friendly (as long as you don't mind mixing onions and tomatoes). Adapted from a Clean Eating Magazine recipe
My boyfriend is Ukrainian and grew up in Kharkiv, where fresh foods and soups - especially Borscht - are staples. And his mom is an amazing cook!
I spent a month and a half in Ukraine and learned a few dishes from her that I am tweaking at home to reproduce the flavor.
Here is my Ukrainian Borscht recipe - it is boyfriend approved.
Serve topped with a dollup of sour cream for an authentic experience! Yum!
This soup gets its creamy texture from fiber and protein-rich beans, not artery-clogging cream. woohoo!!
