My husband and I saw this recipe on T.V. years ago for this chicken salad a lady was trying to figure out from her relative from long ago. Turns out it was chicken, eggs, mayo, salt, pepper and the mystery ingredient...garlic powder. I grill my chicken in the skillet with the seasonings and add some to the mix as well. This recipe makes 10 servings of 1/2 C each.
I had a broccoli, cauliflower, sunflower seed, red onion salad w/a sweet dressing at my in-laws at a pot luck and pretty much only ate that. I had to come home and find a recipe. I left out Dewayne7's raisins, too. This really hits the spot!!
I don't like all the added sugar in the store bought ones and love the idea of using fresh strawberries. One day I just whipped this up and it was AMAZING! I now keep some in the fridge for snacks!
I love this simple mix for on the go. It's sweet and crunchy. YUM!
I've always wanted to make these cookies. Super easy!!
I loved a fresh simple version of this my husband's Aunt made over Easter and decided to give it a try. My husband said it was "refreshing".
Decided to make them regular this time and also no oil. Just used the mix, changed the water to skim milk and the oil to less and used Smart Balance. Enjoy!
I found this in a Taste of home magazine and decided to tinker with it a bit. It sounded so delicious and refreshing with the lemon.
This is definitely a no sugar jam so if you want to add some honey (3/4-1 cup) or sugar 0-3 cups or other sweetener you can, but I added nothing but fruit, juice and the pectin. It did come out a bit on the not sweet side, even for me, but oh well, I'll alter it next time. Maybe I'll try a different juice. I actually used a blueberry pommegranate juice so maybe I will use the apple which is suggested. This made 6- 8 oz jars. Serving size is 1 tablespoon.
I had apples, she had a recipe, but I didn't want to add 3 C of sugar (for the whole recipe). So, when I cut the recipe in half, I just reduced some of the sugar also. It smells awesome cooking and it is really easy to make!
the sauce mix: Avocado, lime juice, olive oil, salt and basil. Mix with any pasta I like whole wheat penne and then add tomato in cubes and garbanzo beans (y u m)
This recipe sounds like it's VERY high in sodium, but it calculated the ingredience of the marinade as if you would be eating that as well. It is a great summer time salad for leftover steak. Add as many fresh vegetables as you would like.
Hearty salad for a summer vegetarian meal or a picnic side dish. Earthy & crunchy satisfying flavors. [Core on WW]
Purchased; no chicken, no bacon, no dressing, extra tomatoes, extra noodles
This is the perfect refreshing, low calorie, quick and easy pie for strawberries!
I love potato salad in the summer. I'm not a mustard lover so my recipe has a little twist. Low calories, low fat. Hope you enjoy it.
Fresh flavor, crunchy, sour, sweet, salty - add to lite sandwish or use as side dish (lunch or dinner)

these cookies are the best alternative for those of us with many food allergies, like gluten and lactose... very easy to put together and bake in a few minutes. I've added the flour i use into the food list in this site to calculate the final nutritional info
The original recipe is from Zonya Focco's Book Lickety Split but I tweaked it to fit my taste buds and the amount of calories I wanted it to have. Originally each slice was 250 calories now with my revised version its 185 calories. If you're looking for a light, healthy, easy dessert...Look no further!!
