A very filling, tasty sandwich with Italian influences
I got this idea from Cooking for Real on the Food Network. I made a low-fat version of it. The fat content was reduced by 69%, and the calorie content was reduced by 53%.
It is full of flavor and easy on your waistline. Enjoy!
This is an adaptation of a Betty Crocker Cookbook recipe. It called for butter/margarine. Olive oil spray was used in place of all of the butter/margarine.

Craving something Cajun? This not too spicy dish, tastes like it takes a long time to cook, but you can be eating in 40 minutes or less. Add a salad and small slice of crusty, hot french bread and you have a delicious, filling meal for under 700 calories that your guests won't know is healthy. Make changes and substitutes as you like, just share them because we might like them too.
(Note: Pasta shown in picture is two servings.)

These burgers don't shrink in the oven -- instead, they seem to inflate! They get very big and juicy, probably because of the egg whites being absorbed by the added grains. They are amazing. You could easily break the mix up into a larger number of servings (6-8) and feel very satisfied by just one burger. (The added grains and flax seed also make them very filling.)
