This is what I use instead of regular cranberry sauce. You can use any flavor Jello. I usually use a red flavor, but orange might be good, too. Only the Jell-o adds sweetness, so it will be fairly tart
I cook each of these up in quantity and then freeze in either 1/2, 3/4 or 1 cup portions. Makes for a speedy gourmet pilaf in under 5 minutes.
