Wow....Wow....Wow.....lighting fast and so flavorful. Feel free to substitute your favorite pasta or for a low carb version you could just leave it out completely.
This is a modified version of a recipe on allrecipes.com that I enjoy greatly and that gives you a lot of protein, a lot of taste, and very few calories. You could make it much faster and easier with pre-prepared chicken breast, first sauteed with the onions and garlic in olive oil. You would increase the amount of broth by 1/2 cup or so and wouldn't use water in that scenario.
To use in place of canned cream soups in casseroles or as a base for
your own soups. It is much lower in fat and salt than the canned versions. The trick is to have it made up ready to use.
*Note* For my bouillon cubes, 1/2 cube = 1 tsp. bouillon granules. 12 tsp. =1/4 cup
Chicken soup the way my old German aunt makes it. The chicken needs to have the skin and fat on it to give it taste. By removing the fat you remove the flavour.
My family loves this recipe. This makes enough for leftovers and freezing individual servings. Great for those cold winters or when someone is sick - great healthy comfort food.
This recipes takes traditional Italian Wedding Soup to a healthier level! Trading cornstarch mixture for eggs and extra lean ground turkey for ground beef to make the meatballs, you will have a deliciously yummy soup with less fat and cholesterol!
Yummy comfort food... really low fat and low calorie!! One serving will fill you up.
This is a nice warming soup to have on a cold day but I enjoy it any time...
This was a south beach recipe I modified. It is just as yummy without the beef and tomato sauce... but I think those two ingredients make a delicious difference
This soup is so versitile. I wind up tossing in whatever vegetables I need to use up and it always tastes good. Sometimes I add a bit of hot sauce for a kick.
A serving is about a cup, just perfect to pack for lunch with a half sandwich.
A hearty, savory tomato soup; creamy yet only 3 gr of fat per serving. A great way to use up all those tomatoes from your garden; you can even use cherry tomatoes!
A soup that not only tastes great but is good for you! The smooth texture appeals to the picky eater.
Restaurant-style hot and sour soup, minus the sugar, corn starch and MSG. You can add whatever other vegetables you like (hot and sour soup usually has mushrooms but I don't like them). I usually add bean sprouts and brown rice and serve it as a complete meal.
