I am not a hunter, but family and friends always bring me venison. This hearty stew is great on a cold winter night. Even those who do not like venison have liked this stew.
Yummy!
This dish could also be done with pork chops instead of chicken.
Tasty, healthy, hearty soup and full of vegetables. The winter squash gives it a sweet buttery flavor. Great low calorie dish!
Alright, this is a recipe that I got from a Tofu cook book which my mother-in-law gave me. It is really good, I just got done making it! The only thing I did different from the recipe is leave the patties in the oven longer than what was called for. That and grind on some pepper with the gravy, yum!
Tender pork chops cooked with green beans, garlic, onion and mushrooms. Simple and yummy.
The seasoning measurements are approximately the total amount I use throughout the whole cooking process, so season your chops/vegetables to your taste.
This will turn out very soupy, with a lot of the water leftover; it doesn't take away from the taste, but if you don't like it soupy, either drain all the soup out or use less water.
You also end up with a lot of vegetables, so you can keep the leftovers for a quick side dish to something else the following meal/day.
This is a wonderful Mediterranean dish. Don't let the name fool you its not spicy hot, but it is full of a wonderful and rich blend of spices. Serve with couscous or rice.
This recipe is similar to chicken parmesan over spaghetti, but it is slightly healthier. It is easy to make and very delicious.

My version of Mac n' Cheese for school. In the amount of time it takes to cook the pasta, I had a luxurious cheese sauce ready! Poured into the casseroles, sprinkled with more cheese and whole wheat breadcrumbs, it was declared "Best Mac and Cheese Ever" by the kids (and I think the old cook was jealous!)
This is one of my favorite grill recipes and is always a hit! I usually make this with rice and bagged coleslaw mix dressed with a little bit of rice vinegar, sesame oil, and honey.
I wanted to eat more fish, but was finding it bland. My husband made this sauce, and I love it.
