When you want a chocolate shake, but need the protein and nutrition. Will fill you for the entire morning!
The sweetness of the maple flavored syrup compliments the slight bitterness of the rutabaga. Easy to prepare, and great with just about any meal as a side dish.

This recipe was featured on the Clean Eating Magazine website and I simply HAD to try it. I changed the servings to 20 instead of 8 as the website stated...so they're mere nibbles instead of big honking brownies. :-) I used canola oil instead of olive oil [because I'm not very keen on olive oil in baked goods] and some organic dark cherry vanilla chocolate instead of just plain ol' dark chocolate [because that's all I had on hand in my pantry].
I really like these and plan to make them again!

This uses absolutely no sugar or other sweetener (artificial or natural).

Yay. Beans again... well, sometimes I think that but not often. I mean, I really love beans and am absolutely fine with eating them often. But, I recently found a recipe online and thought, hmmm, I can make that work and got excited once again about the fabulous black bean!
A beautiful veggie dish for the holidays or just to celebrate the seasonal produce. Sweet, tangy, and delicious.
