For this recipe I used my own cooked, pureed pumpkin. You could probably use canned.
NOTE: I use Splenda Brown Sugar for this. And even though the recipe has been entered at making 6 servings. I find it makes more like 8 - so I will entere in .75 servings when I add this to my daily food diary.
this is a cake for those with allergies. I use applesauce to replace the vegetable oil to be even more healthier. if you leave out the cocoa this will be a white cake.
I love this breakfast! The banana gives it just the right amount of sweetness and the vanilla soy milk adds to the wonderful aroma. I actually just add all the ingredients to the heated soy milk in the morning and take it to work with me. It cooks on its own in my bag and then I just heat it up at work. Delicious and good for you!!
Based on a Bon Appetit recipe from January 2004. Low fat and low sodium, so easy and so flavorful. Serve with sauteed spinach or asparagus and mashed red potatoes.
Sausage links are cut and mixed into a batter of pancake mix which is baked. Serve with Maple syrup and enjoy.

If you must make it a bit sweeter, drizzle a bit of honey or maple syrup on top.
