Recipe from the "Best of Pillsbury" Cookbook. Basic recipe also calls for 1/2 tsp salt, which I left out to reduce sodium. I switched flour tortillas to wheat. Also good with beef or shrimp.
All ingredients except the italian dressing are fresh; never canned or processed....AWESOME
I like my chili spicy, so this is my go to recipe when I want something hearty and filling with a little kick.
Pork and hominy [posole] stew, green chilis simmered together for a rich warming dinner. Best served with a fresh cold/room temp topping of diced avocado, tomato, cilantro, onion, and jalapeno to tase. This is one of very few dishes I would put in a slow cooker!

In many Mexican restaurants, street corn is one of my favorite dishes. Throw all the ingredients together in a bowl for this delicious salad!
saute garlic and onions; brown groud beef & drain off fat; combine all ingredients together in stock pot and simmer for at least 1 hour
We call this mexican spaghetti at our house...it is quick and easy. Serve in a flour or corn tortilla...or by itself.
Our family loves fresh salsa, but it is more expensive to buy. So we started making our own in an extra large quantity.
