This is a deliciously spicy taste of Fall, anytime you care to make it. I've used it to fill turnovers and mini-pies, though it would be delicious and guilt free just eaten as a pudding! I reccomend using a food mill to puree the roasted component if you're picky anout texture, otherwise a food processor should make it wonderfully! Makes about 3 cups.

This banana bread is really low fat but you would never know it! To make it even lighter use splenda and a full cup applesauce and eliminate the butter completely. My husband who is "anti-diet food" LOVES it! Add chocolate chips or walnuts in the last step to mix things up a bit!
A multigrain, wholesome food. My kids love this and it holds together well for sandwiches. The seeds can be omitted if you like.
