I make a double batch of meat loaf so I can use it throughout the week. Basic recipe - old family favourite - easy to switch up with different spices. Sometimes to switch it up instead of topping with tomato soup I'll use salsa. Great with boiled potatoes and brocolli - good ol fashion cooking.
I enjoy a good bowl of borshct in the fall when the weather starts to turn cooler. This soup is a deep, dark red that turns a neat pink colour when served with sour cream.
My daughter loves this. When we are pressed for time she asks me to make "Presto" because it's so fast (she named it). Sometimes I add olives or green onions. It is also good on rice or couscous. The beauty of this recipe is the versatility and the ease.

As a participant of a summer CSA (community supported agriculture program), we get varied produce every week. This week was Swiss chard, zucchini and tomatoes. I have alwasy wanted to try making lasagna with zucchini noodles rather than pasta. I figured this was my chance.
The name may be correct - but the calorie count - is low. This is a bit "labor" intensive - however, it is well worth it. Tastes sinful and is a great craving killer.
If you love cabbage, you are going to freak out about how good this is. Now, if you are on the fence about cabbage, you need to try this because this might be the recipe that converts you to a cabbage lover.
Not too sticky- I promise! But definitely Yum-O! Who-da thought chicken could be so easy and delish?! It goes great w/ rice and was a staple of my obaasan (grandma) during the holidays and on afternoon picnics to Golden Gate Park.
Donair Meat... It's not low fat, even using lean beef. This is a treat that should be eaten rarely, but it's sooooo good.
