Considering that a regular 1 cup serving of French Onion Soup can contain800+ calories, i think this is a vast improvement!
The flavor is rich and satisfying and when properly prepared it is truly delicious!
Crunchy textures give tuna a twist. Use as a main dish salad alone or served over greens.
This is a great salad for a summer potluck or cookout. Proteins from the beans and quinoa also make this a bright summer lunch.

My husband who doesn't really liked eggplant thought it was pretty tasty too!!
A tasty dip for veggies or bread (a great spread as well).
This is a recipe from Sparkpeople's meal planner, but I cannot find it anywhere on Spark Recipes. I can't take any credit for it!
I remade Chili's Boneless Buffalo Chicken Salad because I really like chicken salads and I like hot wings. This recipe cuts the original's calories by about half. Most of the savings comes in baking the chicken in panko instead of frying the chicken in a batter.
NOTE: After thinking about it and reading some comments, I changed the wing sauce amount in the nutrition calculator to be 1 serving (1 Tbsp.) instead of the 8 that I had originally to match the ingredients list (the amount of sauce used is not equal to the amount you consume). It's still higher in sodium than I'd like, but I think the recipe is a good first cut. I'll keep tinkering with it.
From the Kitchen of Camille Engel... My friends and family LOVE this recipe. It is great served alongside chicken or salmon. Serve it as a dip with tortilla chips (or jicama slices for a no-grain healthy dipper.)
Yummy, easy, low fat fish stew I found in a Microwave cookbook about 15-18 years ago. The only recipe I kept.
So good the family devoured it in 1 meal!
What inspired this soup was the almost empty box of lasagna noodles! I was tired of looking at it.
This is a good recipe to play around with - use what you have on hand.
Prep time will vary depending on the individual cook.
Warm and filling! Makes enough for the whole family and even some tasty leftovers! Use low-sodium chicken broth or make your own to cut down the salt!
