You can use a fresh turkey sausage with this as well. . .doesn't work so well with chicken. Nutritional value will be enhanced if you use a whole wheat or 'smart Taste' pasta. . .
I've also tried with canned diced tomatoes which didn't work so well.
One of my favorite Rachel Ray recipes, with a few modifications - changed cream to evaporate milk, doubled the amount of mushrooms, and used whole wheat pasta
Never made this before, used what odds and ends I had in the fridge from other meals in the past couple of days. Turned out so well, my boyfriend told me to save it as a "real" recipe.
