You have got to try this. Its a little high in fat and calories but I cut the sugar in half and use lowfat milk.
Trust me, your guests will love you for this dish!
This is the best I can calculate how I make my salsa. It varies. Sometimes more bell pepper, less sugar or minced garlic when handy. But it should be close enough for a fairly accurate calorie count.
Yeast bread does not have to be hard, messy or time consuming. Whether you are a busy mom with toddlers, or a 2 income family with teenagers, you can put this whole grain, heart healthy, low fat bread on your table in less than 2 hours, and with no kneading and no messy kitchen. Try this bread out on your family - but beware, you might have to fit it into your daily schedule when they polish off a loaf every day!

These are delicious and wholesome! As well as very filling! I have it figured with sweetened Cinnamon applesauce because thats what I had on hand but you can opt out for unsweetened applesauce if you would like.
This was my Mom's recipe. It is a great side dish, & LOW in calories!! The soy sauce & water are both 1/4 cup. The lemon juice should be 1/2 tsp. My mom used lemon pepper, instead of lemon juice & black pepper, but i don't care for it. On occasion, I'll throw some mushrooms into the mix!!!
This is a test. Hopefully I can edit it later. But let me know what you think, or send me your low-sodium recipes. (If you aren't concerned about sodium, add 1 tsp. salt to the recipe).
Top warm polenta mushrooms, vegetables, scampi (shrimp, chicken, veggie) marinara, ragu, cream sauce or enjoy it by itself. Either way it's good!
I've lost track of the link where I found this recipe, but honest to goodness it's tasty! The only problem is, I couldn't find the precise measurements on the recipe calculator, so PLEASE look at the text of the recipe for the closest I could come
