Indian dessert usually made of cheese dumplings in a cream based sauce. This is a low fat version but tastes great. You can us Splenda instead of the sugar to make it low carb.

Modified recipe after watching Ellie Krieger video. It did not give measurement for the Ricotta. I used lower fat ingredients. She recommended tomato sauce that did not have more than 500 mg sodium per serving and included olive oil in ingredients. I chose the brand listed as I use homemade sauce.

This is a wonderful sub and everyone who has tried it, loves the taste and creamy texture of the pie. If preferred, serve with strawberrys or cherry topping. I buy the Kroger Private Selection strawberries that are found near the whipped cream in the frozen food freezer, I have found it has the best taste
I wanted to make a pumpkin and bean dip but only had 1/4 cup pumpkin. I'd gotten canned roasted red peppers at the dollar store, so I substituted one pepper for the remainder of the pumpkin.
