Party Recipes (Most Popular)
This is a great snack for a party. It's just a big bowl of stuff that you can put out and have cups for people to scoop handfuls with. {note: the picture contains a little bit of a different mix of food...but what you put in it is optional, this is just one example!}
This recipe is higher in meat and other veggies than cabbage. I don't like egg rolls at restaurants, but these I love! They need to be dipped, and the sauces are not included, because there are too many that are amazing with them! A little high on the sodium, but amazing!
I am putting the regular version in first and then I will add "makeover" version in my recipe box, too. This is very party friendly and kid friendly and healthier than the cream cheese version.
This is the lower fat and lower sugar version of my regular "Fluff" recipe
A scrumptious, healthy version of Buffalo Chicken Dip - Perfect for Football season.
Using pop in cakes has been around for a long time, I think people forget that this is the best way to cut out unnecessary calories and fat.
This version is one of the more healthier since I don't use any heavy cream or high calorie cookies.
This is a posh vegetable side dish- saffron doesn't come cheap! That being said, it adds an unmistakeable flavour! Roast in a large, shallow baking dish for maximum crispiness. This recipe is based on one by Yotam Ottolenghi, who also includes green olives and minced fresh parsley in his version.
This is an even-easier, even-lighter adaptation of a popular recipe for lighter eggplant parmesan.
This is a reduced fat version of my 3 cheese tortellini soup that was a favorite with family and friends. Very hearty soup for a cold winters day. Serve with a crusty bread.
These Joe's aren't sloppy! They are trim, lean and very metrosexual. I use a dry rub seasoning and some crushed red pepper to balance out the sweetness from the bbq sauce (Montgomery Inn BBQ Sauce is my preference). I actually serve them on mini Kroger brown 'n serve dinner rolls (80 cal) with about 1oz of meat on each one. You can cut the calories in half for that. Great for mini party sandwiches. (We made them for the superbowl 2010). Also good with added chopped veggies, then serves inside of lettuce wraps.
DELICIOUS! You won't be disappointed by this flavorful pizza. And if you don't care for a wheat crust or don't have the time - you can always buy a crust to use. Just remember it's the wheat crust that is included in the nutritional values. You'll Love It!
Lasagna is one of my favorite foods and so I knew I would have to come up with a healthy version. Well, this recipe exceeded my expectations and my whole family LOVED it! Delicious!! It is made without added salt, is very low fat and has a lot of fiber - This is a must try!! Yum!!
