A yummy soup that isn't cream based! Could probably leave out the bacon if you really wanted to.
This is great by itself (1 cup), over baked potato or over steamed broccoli. 1c=1 point for Weight Watchers. Great for an afternoon snack and under 100 cal!
This is a really healthy soup and a good recepie to add vegetables to your daily food. I used salt, however you can swap it for a low sodium vegetable stock. You can also substitute the cottage cheese for tofu. enjoy!!

I'm a firm believer that the more that goes into the chili pot-- the better it is for you! Especially in fall after a day spent in the chill doing yard work. Try serving it with baked tortilla chips, some shredded cheddar sprinkled on top and a dollop of sour cream. Yum. And it freezes like a dream.
Make the meatballs several days in advance and freeze them. I prefer fresh basil, parsley, garlic, and fresh ground pepper for a more intense flavor. I also use sea salt (salt can be adjusted for taste and sodium restrictions).
