This is a delicious alternative to beef or turkey and it is delicious with a mexican flavor. I had these with homemade whole wheat low calorie hamburger buns and with a piece of low fat cheddar cheese melted on it.
This is the kind of miracle dish that can convert anyone to tofu. The Jamaican "jerk" seasoning is sure-to-please. It's sort of like barbeque and sort of like curry, savory and sweet at the same time. Just make sure you allow plenty of time for the pressing and marinating. The drier the tofu gets before you put it in the marinade, the better. It will soak up more flavor and be nicely chewy.
This is the Easiest and HEALTHY meal you will ever make. Prep time is so fast and the presentation is beautiful. Pair it with a salad and serve for dinner.
Easy to throw together, and super low in calories and fat. Perfect to warm up with on cold days!
This "pasta" dish is so light and yet rich--you'll never guess the "cream" is made from sunflower seeds. The white beans add buttery flavor and protein. Make this when the garden overflows with tomatoes, basil and zucchini.
This is my version of another recipe. It's loaded with protein and is great for dinner served with steamed brocolli or rice. I also will use it for a WONDERFUL breakfast casserole with fruit.

I found this base recipe on "Everyday Dish TV" then adjusted it to my taste by adding vegan Chorzo or Italian sausage and more spice. This recipe makes a ton and is good for pot luck or shared dinners.
Here we braise the carrots and turnips separately and with no added water.
An assortment of vegetables with a splash of olive oil, so good you'll be begging for more.
I made this up one day when I was craving cabbage and had a bunch of kidney beans in the fridge that needed using. Canned kidney beans would work fine here if you're in a hurry.
This warm, perfectly spiced, creamy curry is an easy to prepare comfort food that's healthy and makes the most of your winter squash. Balanced, single pot dinner. Add shrimp or chicken for a meaty twist. Great over rice.
I found this online when searching for interesting butternut squash recipes. I think I found my favorite one!
