I've always had a taste bud defect of only liking creamy soups. Thankfully, fat free half & half adds creaminess just as well as heavy cream.

This recipes takes traditional Italian Wedding Soup to a healthier level! Trading cornstarch mixture for eggs and extra lean ground turkey for ground beef to make the meatballs, you will have a deliciously yummy soup with less fat and cholesterol!

Adjusted a recipe posted by TEDDYBEAR662 to use frozen meatballs instead to make even easier.

Italian Wedding Soup is one of my favorites soups, so taking it Primal was a must. Contrary to what the name implies, the "wedding" refers to the marrying of the flavors of green vegetables and meat.

Just putting this in SP so I can log it into my food tracker.

My own Italian Wedding soup recipe with ground turkey, Matzo meal and unsalted chicken stock to reduce fat and sodium content. This still has some sodium but less than many soups.

Who doesn't want a big bowl of deliciousness right now?

This is a really thick filling soup.

Using frozen meatballs makes this a simpler weeknight soup option; we like the Italian turkey meatballs from Trader Joe's .

The meatballs and spinach in the chicken broth are delicious

We don't have access to a lot of types of pasta or fancy greens so this is our adaptation to the traditional soup.
