This is a very tasty and easy to make dinner. The salmon is cooked in its own tin foil parcels to absorb all the flavours and remain succulent.
This is one of my family's very favorite dinners. One of the best things about this recipe is how easy it is to adjust to your own tastes. I entered it in with my true ingredients, which are SPICY! If you don't like it super spicy, adjust your ratio of Sweet Thai chili sauce (found in the grocery store asian food section) and the spicy Sambal Oelek (found in the same section). Try 1/4 cup of sambal oelek and 3/4 cup sweet chili sauce. Also very good with skinless chicken thighs, trimmed. I just ordered PB2 and am looking forward to trying it with this recipe, to cut the fat back even further!
Dress up your green beans. Miso is a perfect replacement for butter in most sauteed dishes and offers a nice earthy, salty note to the beans.
These are a yummy treat, hard not to over indulge! I got this from the Kraft Foods website
This is easy and tastes like the green beans at the chinese food restaurant. Try substituing or adding other vegetables for a change-up!
This pancit bihon recipe is my favorite recipe of all time. It is very satisfying and full of fresh veggies!
Delicious and easy, this salad combines all of your favorite sushi ingredients in one bowl!
This sweet dessert drink gets a healthy makeover from Cassey Ho. You'll love this sugar-free and dairy-free version!
This taste just like the burbon chicken you get at mall food courts...but much healthier
Warning: must love garlic.
This dish serves 1, but can easily be modified to serve more.
Some Soba noodles are gluten-free (check package). They are made from buckwheat and metabolize much more slowly than most carbohydrates, which makes them ideal for diabetics and health-conscious individuals. You can pick them up at your local japanese market or health food store.
If you don't have any chicken leftovers on hand, Marinate chicken breast tenderloins or sliced breasts in some sesame oil, chopped up garlic, sake or rice vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper for 4-24 hours. Cook in nonstick skillet.. adding a bit of soy sauce and sake/wine halfway through the cooking.
This sauce can be used on any noodles with just about any vegetables you like. Enjoy :)
Really good recipe that taste very like the restaurants but healthier. Very Easy! Nutrition information includes 1/2 cup cooked rice per serving. (Updated recipe to 1 tsp of Ginger vs 2).
Soooo good and QUICK!!! My non vegetarian husband asked me for SECONDS!!!
You can use this sauce in spicy tuna rolls, or on a volcano or lava roll. The Sriracha hot sauce is the secret ingredient (the one with the rooster on the bottle!). You can be authentic and use "real" Japanese Mayonnaise (Kewpie), but good old Hellman's works fine too.

This recipe is to replace the green beans you get at most/all Chinese Buffets including Panda Express and many others. They are a hit with everyone, every time I make them... even my picky picky picky people that I have to feed!
[EDIT: After noticing everyone commenting on the sodium, I realized that I didn't add the 'lite' soy sauce that I use - I had added regular! Fixed it now :) ]
This is one of my all time favorite tofu recipes. I've done a fair bit of tweaking to it and think that I may finally have what I am after. Great source of protein. Don't be scared by the big pile of spinach - it cooks down and ends up being a pretty small portion of the meal.
So tangy, so savory--and so easy to make. Impress your guests with this recipe.
