This is the basic recipe for oatmeal in a crockpot. The ratio is established here and you can tinker with the ingredients as you like. If you add dried fruit, use a little more water.
The original recipe sent to me was for 2 whole eggs and 1/4 cup butter or oil. I substituted 4 egg whites and 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce. My kids ate them and thought they were great.
These are my version of morning glory muffins, I think everybody makes them a little different. I find that this muffin along with a fruit & yogurt smoothie is a perfect start to the day, and surprisenly enough these little muffins are very very filling! Did I mention they are DELICIOUS !!!
