A light chicken salad with added fiber for lunch.
Makes about 1 cup to 12 ounces.
For a change from the same old fibre sources, mix it up a bit with this ancient grain. It can be cooked with just water, however it tends to be quite bland. Add you favourite ingredients as you would rice or couscous, and you've got yourself a full meal.
Frozen mixed berries can be blended or switched with any frozen fruit. You don't taste the asparagus but it adds a LOT of nutrition.
Recently having been diagnosed with celiac disease, I really wanted to create a cookie recipe for when I need a sweet, instead of buying the really expensive dough from the supermarket. These are fantastic!
Delicious. Very low fat and very filling. Very flavorful. Due to celery and sausage I had to add very little salt. I made this soup so I could have something good and low in calories and fat for lunch and dinner for the next coupla days. I was also able to make it as spicy as I wanted because its just for me. My kids love cabbage and I usually can't make it spicy at all. My husband couldn't stop eating it and he is nowhere near on a diet
