I love making soda bread. It's so damn hearty and filling and most importantly, it reminds me of my Grandma. The only issue is that soda bread tends to be extremely caloric and once you slather Irish butter all over it any and all hopes of it being a healthy table bread option go out the window.
So, I created this healthier version of my Grandma's brown bread recipe. And, as a bonus, it's vegan!
My take on making a "Clif" bar using ingredients with names I can pronounce. These also are about 50 calories less than the store-bought versions.
