Semi-sweet chips, chopped nuts, grated Hershey (or you can substitute any chocolate bar), blended rolled oats and other ingreds. come together to make one delicious cookie! It is the urban myth $250 Neiman Marcus cookie you may have heard of in one of those office chain e-mails, but I thought I'd put it up here anyway!
I make this for special occasions and birthdays because it is always a favorite.
Here's a link to a website explaining the background behind this cookie recipe :

*Disclaimer: This is by no means a healthy cookie, unfortunately. It isn't too bad if you have it once in a while though! To stay healthy, I make these cookies as gifts for other people so I can have a small share and then send it out of the house and out of my site, haha!
**If you have a variation or have made a healthier version I would really love to know!!
Melty chocolate, warm banana, in a crispy shell, topped with cool whip - yummm!
Start by putting the evaporated milk and sugar into a medium sauce pan on low heat siring constantly until sugar is smooth (about 5 min).
Then mix in the butter, chocolate chips and peanut butter and stir constantly until chocolate chips are melted (about 5 more min).
Then add vanilla, stir, then pour in to a greased 9 by 9 by 2 inch dish.
This great-tasting little quesadilla is a good one to have the kids help with because it's so easy.
I swapped out the white sugar for SPLENDA to make it more diabetic-friendly.
I found a banana cake recipe in a favorite book of mine but found it to be too many calories. I tweaked the recipe and cut half the fat, a third or so of the sugars and the family still loves it- even the teens.
Trying to put oatmeal in whatever I can for my husband who has high cholestrol - turned out pretty good.
This is my family's all time favorite! I get asked for the recipe everytime I serve it
Your going to love this recipe. I just threw it together using some sliced 40 calorie per slice bread that was not as fresh as my family or I desire for sandwiches. I wanted to make a healthy treat that was no t yogurt but did not have much more Calories or fat than yogurt and I pretty much did it!
I am not vegan, trust me, and when my vegan coworker brought these in I was skeptical. But man are they delicious! I edited the recipe a little (using applesauce instead of oil and almond milk instead of hazelnut) so feel free to amend. It is also easy to make gluten free! A quick chocolate fix without the guilt!
A full size Hershey milk chocolate bar has 210 calories & over 13 grams of fat. Yet, take a quarter of that, add a single marshmallow & 2 squares of graham crackers and you have a gooey, chocolate treat with only 136 calories & 4.7 grams of fat. Just don't eat the rest of the bar!!!
