This is a creamy and delicious soup that I make whenever we buy a bushel of sweet Apalachicola oysters. If you can't find fresh oysters in your store, frozen or canned works well in soups. Also a good base for any kind of "cream of" soup.
I just about died when I saw 990 mg sodium per cup of prepared soup. So, I added more water and other ingredients to reduce the sodium to 522.1 mg, still way too high for a single serving of anything.
