This is a borrowed recipe from ediets. I added 1 package of reduced fat cream cheese rather than using 2 packages of fat free cream cheese. I also used egg substitute rather than two eggs. For a sweeter pie, you can increase the amount of splenda slightly.
This is an incredible easy stuffing. Hint when you order your bread ask them to chunk it for you.
You can easily add fruit such as cranberries, raisins or apples.
I always make this the night before
Crushed nuts instead of a flour crust and liquid stevia instead of sugar eliminate most of the carbohydrates from this classic Thanksgiving dessert without sacrificing its familiar yummy taste.
Don't feel left out this Thanksgiving if you are on a gluten-free or vegan diet! I don't measure seasonings, so use discretion here.
Taken from the KIng Arthur Flour website and is a large recipe, I have written it just as it appears on the site (but I left out 1/2 tsp ground cardamom because I did not have any on hand!) it makes one large 10 inch loaf plus a pan of large rolls, or two 10 inch loaves. It can be divided. Like I said, I made it just as the website said and am including a picture of one of my loaves! The family already ate the rolls LOL! Delish! I don't expect any other sparkers to make this recipe, I put it in here for my food tracker, and because I am making this recipe for Thanksgiving.
This recipe is a version of my aunt's Thanksgiving corn casserole -- always the favorite. It's tweaked with fresh sweet corn and buttermilk, which makes it a bit sweeter, and impossible to stop going back for seconds! Friends of mine have eaten whole batches alone for a meal!
This light, fruity casserole makes a delicious and healthy addition to a holiday meal.
A lighter version of the old holiday favorite candied yams. This version uses applesauce to replace half the sugar and eliminates the butter all together.
Mashed Sweet Potatoes baked with cream cheese. Very tasty side dish, and great for Thanksgiving time!
