Chicken Carbonara Recipes

Olive Garden has a tempting Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara, but it has over 1400 calories and 3 grams of sodium. With stats like these, I could only afford a tiny taste and I want to enjoy the whole dish.

While the original dish has shrimp, I want to simplify the preparation by limiting the proteins. Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta is a good compromise between whole grain pasta and white flour pasta. The egg substitute can be replaced with egg whites you don't keep both whole eggs and egg substitute at home.

this is simple to make and, I have been making it for years, my kids love it!

not low fat or sodium, but that can be fixed by substituting for the egg yolk, bacon and heavy cream

This is so tasty

This creamy chicken pasta dish is not healthy but I took a really unhealthy dish and added some healthier twists to add some nutrition like adding lots of veggies, whole wheat pasta, turkey bacon, and lower fat cheeses. I can still have a favorite dish on occasion with some healthier twists than restaurants.

Replaced the pasta with cauliflower florets.
