Slightly adapted from Betty Crocker. This recipe was vegan without any changes!
Strawberries are my favorite fruit, however when it comes to strawberry flavored things, I find they taste artificial and really don't do the little red beauties any justice. This homemade strawberry sorbet recipe, however did not leave me or my husband disappointed and as it's a healthy summer treat I can't wit to share it with you.
Please use heaping 1/3 cup of coconut flour instead of shredded coconut. Please use 1/2 cup fine almond flour. You can use farmers cheese or small curd cottage cheese instead of ricotta. Also add 1-2 tbs Psyllium husk or xantam gum ( optional) Also use erythrol (swerve) instead of xylitol. And add 1 tsp baking powder. Mix all and bake on 350 for 50-60 min or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Leave in warm oven for 15 -20 min before taking out . Cool at least 30 min before serving . Sometimes there are no ingredients to be listed when writing recipe, sorry.

My Sister In Law brought this beautiful dessert to a barbecue we had in July and she is willing to share it with us. Very rich for the chocolate lover in you!
I really really REALLY wanted a banana split. So, in keeping with trying to be healthy, I tried this out and I liked it!
A good way to kick start the day or as a dessert.
Our daughter, Shannon in Regina passed this recipe onto us.
A recipe from Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld. These brownies fool everyone! You won't believe how scrumptious they are (or how good they are for you) until you make them yourself. Just don't serve them warm -- it's not until they're completely cool that the spinach flavor totally disappears.
This is a traditional Hungarian cookie that my mother's family always makes around Christmas. There are three versions of the cookie usually made, but the base dough is the same. It is a rich, crisp cookie that is very distinctive and little trouble to make, though they do take some time. Freezes well.
Homemade graham cracker crust. Easy to make. This recipe is for a 9.5 inch pie pan.
This is the tastiest shortbread recipe I have ever come across. This is also my very favorite cookie in the whole world. This recipe makes 4 dozen mini button shortbread cookies.....normally these are rather unhealthy but the nutritional info per cookie is not that bad, less than 60 calories per cookie, less than 1.5 grams of sugar per cookie. These are a yummy treat but are REMEMBER that "Moderation is the key"
Less than 100 calories - adapted from Shape Magazine recipe. Only 58 calories per brownie.
One of my favorite recipes from my great-grandma's book.
Dark, rich, moist chocolate 2-layer cake with raspberry filling. Virtually fat free and only about 150 calories. Freezing the cake layers as described results in a super-moist cake. It is easiest to prepare the cake one day or more ahead and assemble the day you want to serve it.
A light and fluffy key lime pie that you can whip up in 5 minutes. I got this recipe off of a Keebler Ready Crust Reduced Fat Graham Cracker crust. You can use this as a base recipe and use any combination of sugar free gelatin and fat free yogurt.
A great cool-weather cake. It gets better and better as it ripens. It is great with the warm brown sugar sauce, included.
One of my mom's holiday cookies that's perfect for my new healthy lifestyle!
