Homemade Soup. This is something my husband through together one day. I would have used 2 lbs of ground turkey except I just didn't have two pounds. That is why it is 1 lb ground turkey and 1 lb ground chuck. Serving size I am not really sure on how to calculate. I just estimated one cup servings and there were a total of 12 cups. You should get like a cup of soup for the servings. I am kinda new at this so any suggestions are welcomed
Low fat low calorie substitute for chicken parm. Can be topped with mozzarella cheese if desired.
To enjoy the taste of Hainanese Chicken Rice, a Southeast Asian delicacy, it usually takes one 4 hours to prepare -- and it's not exactly as light as a granola bar.
However, a few adjustments here and there and VOILA ~ Cheater rice.
My mom's recipe for manicotti. It's absolutely DELICIOUS. I tried to use low-fat and low calorie versions of a lot of ingredients.
I had left over mashed potatoes and didn't know what to do with them. Then I remembered my grandmother would always take ground beef, cream of mushroom soup, and green beans, shove mashed potatoes over the top and bake in a dutch oven. Oops, I didn't have green beans, ground beef, or cream of mushroom soup. This was MY result!
This is a nice alternative, thanks to SP and their olive oil for butter substitution article!
This recipe was adapted from a Chelsea Clinton recipe a friend gave me that has TONS more regular sugar and butter. If you modify and use splenda, you can have your sweets and eat them too!
Delicious served cold with warm bread, or heat it up and use it as a fresh pasta sauce with chicken.
This is a family favorite. The panko is such a wonderful light breading that we enjoy more than regular breadcrumbs.
This is a recipe I made for the sake of convenience. I chose not to add any flavoring but it may taste better that way. Fresh vegetables would also taste good.
These meatballs receive their nutritional boost from the pumpkin, in lieu of eggs. They come out moist and you cannot detect any pumpkin taste. This recipe can be cut in half for a family of four. I like to make extra to freeze so I can throw them in sauce or make subs anytime.
