Tastes as good as the regular Macaroni and Cheese if not better, it cuts out a lot of fat naturally. I snuck this lighter recipe on my family and they didn't notice that it was light.
This is just something I made up, there are tons of recipes out there for various variations of this. Play with it!
I make this for pot luck BBQs. The smokiness of the hamhock really enhances the flavor of the beans. I remove the hock and don't use the meat so the calorie/fat calculations may be a bit off.

Cauliflower, raw, 57 grams (remove)
Broccoli, fresh, 57 grams (remove)
Carrots, raw, 57 grams (remove)
Onions, raw, 28 grams (remove)
Coconut Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
Season to taste with:
Bragg's amino acids
Bragg's apple cider vinegar
garlic powder
celery salt
parsley
water to prevent from cooking dry
I use this as a subsitute for rice, pasta or bread with simple meals.
