My family has made these for years. Easy to make and fun to top with jam or honey. Enjoy!!
A Moosewood Cooks at Home recipe altered with FF Cottage Cheese rather than regular, and egg whites rather than eggs and 1 tsp oil rather than 1 tbs. Try these charming, delicate, pancakes for breakfast, lunch, or brunch. They are particularly delightful with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkling of fresh berries.
Adapted from Baking Bites. Crumpets are best served toasted and spread with butter, honey or jam for breakfast. They also make a healthy sandwich and are always able to be at hand since they freeze so easily! This is also a great way to avoid sourdough starter waste when you don't want a loaf of bread.
ULTRA LOW-CARB CREPES
Ultra tasty too! Lovely with Crème Fraiche, page 99, Splendid
Low-Carbing for Life, Vol. 2 and Saskatoon Mixed Berry Jam, page 57.

These low-fat muffins are extremely easy to make and keep well in the freezer for a quick, grab-and-go breakfast.
Vegetarian brunch item, adapted from a Rachel Ray recipe. A nice side item for pancakes or eggs on the weekend.
This is a great hearty breakfast without the guilt. lots of fiber and anti-oxidents to get you moving.
This is an accidental adaptation for the no-butter sugar cookie recipe found on the blog: A Foodie Loves Company. I say accidental because her recipe calls for 2/3 cup canola oil however I substituted vegetable oil and accidentally used 3/4 cups instead of 2/3 cups. They still turned out quite nicely.
Dont let the name fool you... This may be creamy, but by using Fat Free Cream Cheese and Low Calorie Bread (at 262 calories and only 1.8 grams of fat), there's no guilt involved! This recipe is SUPER filling
This is a basic recipe for crepes, which can then be combined with many other ingredients for wonderful variety.
This recipe is for 5 arepas. This arepas can be filled with cheese slices, ham slices, scrambled eggs, meat (shredded), tuna etc. Ech arepa has only 110 calories, doesn't have any fat calories other than the corn oil that you need to greased the griddle where you are going to cook them. If you choose to fry them instead of cooking on the griddle, then Arepas will be a fatty meal.
Don't forget that to the calories of the Arepa , you will need to add the calories of the filling you choose to accompany with.
If you choose Tuna, you will find that is a really light meal!!
Arepas are delicious!! Can be eaten for breakfast or for dinner.
