Vegan Recipes (Most Popular)
This is a basic, adaptable recipe. How many servings you end up with will depend on how big your bananas are. I like using strawberry applesauce for a little more flavor but you might try other flavors. You can add 1 cup of chocolate chips and/or 1 cup of nuts if you like. Just be sure to change the recipe so the calories calculate correctly. Applesauce makes them pretty dense so if you like them fluffier, replace it with oil but adjust the recipe.
I'm always looking for new ways to cook rice, and this one is very creamy.
This is from the cookbook, Skinny Bitch in the Kitch. Vegetarian and vegan if you omit the parmesan cheese or find vegan cheese.
You know that craving you get? The sweet tooth you just can't cut loose? This little cake is fabulous for that! I make it about once every two weeks or so, and it's just enough to kill the craving, but not too much that it kills my diet!
These make a satisfying and healthy alternative to regular chips/ fries. VERY tasty and quick to make in the microwave.
From Tofurky brand 5 Grain Tempeh package
This recipe tastes similar to tuna salad, but is made with tempeh instead! It's great for anyone who doesn't eat tuna, wants to add more whole grains to their diet, or just wants to experiment with tempeh! It's great on a sandwich, crackers, english muffins, or in a tortilla wrap. You can also melt soy or regular cheese over it (I like swiss).
No soy delicious ground meat alternative. You can use whatever combination of seeds and nuts you have or like to make the total of 1 cup. This makes a lot - 9 cups or so.
