My own twist on Giada deLaurentis's recipe. It was great. We had it here tonight and my roommate wants it every week now!
This recipe was originally in Southern Living magazine. I changed it a bit to suit my family.
Fluffy dropped or rolled biscuits, perfect for breakfast or to accompany any meal. Use whole wheat flour to make them more healthy.
Caramelizing the brussels sprouts gives them a nice texture. I never used to like them until now!
My favorite spring time treat, made with skim milk. I made enough for 5 servings by using the following measurements, but the ingredients above were calculated for one serving.
My sis made me this while i was visiting and they were so delicious and low cal and better than the old fashion calorie laden, overly sweetened version! This requires no sugar or salt where you get to enjoy the natural sweetness of the sweet potato. Hope you try it and enjoy!
I got this recipe from my mom. I wasn't a big fan of zucchini until my mom made this recipe. I love the way it tastes! I think that the sugar gives it a sweet taste. Now I have to watch that I don't eat the entire thing myself since the recipe is for 4 servings! Thankfully it has low calories per serving.
Nice, healthy side dish. The first time I made it, it was mushy, but I drain the tomatoes now (or used fresh) and it made it better!

Cabbage is cheap, and, as such, we toss a head into our shopping cart a couple of times a month. We often shred it and toss it with vinaigrette, but this braised variety is a welcome break from raw slaws.
Vite-Mix recipe, was very nice when warm and fresh, dries out pretty soon, was a bit gritty. It may need to be mixed with other gluten free flours to last longer or be less gritty. I'll experiment and edit recipee as necessary.
I love ranch dressing, but it's so heavy! Here's a lighter version that also happens to be vegan. You can substitute regular low-fat mayonnaise and skim milk for the soy milk and vegan mayo.
Great way to get your spinach in as breakfast or hearty lunch with crusty whole grain bread.
I thought this sounded good from another Sparker so I made my own with more asparagus, no olive oil and changed the onions to red onions. Maybe next time some slivered almonds would be nice. Hmmmmm.....
